Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of TurnKit's website at turnkit.app (the "Site"), and any services we offer through it. By using the Site or submitting your email, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Site.
1. About TurnKit
TurnKit ("we", "us", "our") is an AI product assembly platform currently in pre-launch, operated from Ontario, Canada as an early-stage startup.
At this stage, the Site primarily allows you to learn about TurnKit and join our waitlist. Once the product launches, additional terms may apply to specific features or accounts; we'll update or supplement these Terms when that happens.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Site. By using it, you confirm you meet this requirement. If you're using the Site on behalf of a company or organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Site in any unlawful way
- Attempt to access non-public areas of the Site or our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Site (e.g., denial-of-service attacks, malware, scraping at unreasonable rates)
- Submit content that infringes intellectual property, contains malicious code, or violates someone else's rights
- Misrepresent yourself or impersonate another person
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Site
We reserve the right to refuse service, restrict access, or take any other reasonable action in response to violations.
4. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, code, designs, and the TurnKit name and brand — is owned by TurnKit or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.
You may view and use the Site for lawful personal or business evaluation purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, publish, or create derivative works without our written permission, except as expressly permitted by these Terms.
5. Your submissions
When you send us information (email address, feedback, inquiries), you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use that information to operate, improve, and communicate about TurnKit. We will only use your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.
You confirm that anything you submit is yours to share and doesn't violate someone else's rights.
6. Email communications
By submitting your email address, you consent to receive commercial electronic messages from TurnKit about the product, launch, updates, and related topics. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email or by emailing hello@turnkit.app. See our Privacy Policy for details.
7. Third-party services
The Site may include links or references to third-party websites and services. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content, terms, or practices. Use them at your own risk and review their terms separately.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
Statements about TurnKit's product are forward-looking; the product is in development and features, timelines, availability, and pricing may change without notice.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TurnKit and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill — arising out of or related to your use of the Site, even if we've been advised of the possibility of such damages.
In jurisdictions that don't allow these exclusions or limitations, our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the past 12 months, or CAD $100, whichever is greater.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TurnKit and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party right.
11. Modifications
We may modify these Terms or the Site at any time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Effective date" at the top and, where appropriate, communicated by email or website notice. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
We may also suspend or discontinue the Site, or any feature, at any time without notice.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from your use of the Site or these Terms will be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
If you reside outside Canada, you agree this choice of law and venue is reasonable.
13. Severability
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in full force and effect.
14. Entire agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and TurnKit regarding the Site, and supersede any prior agreements on the same subject.
